“I sold my old house and disposed of all my old furniture prior to moving into my new one. While I loved the exterior and interior layout of my new place, there was something about the interior - something I couldn't quite put my finger on - that wasn't resonating with me. Fortunately, my real estate agent suggested I speak to Laurie. I did, and that averted a small disaster. Laurie made the drive out to my place and spent time listening to my thoughts and assessing the space. Laurie has a wonderful gift. She has an incredible eye, for colour, for spacial relationships and for possibilities. Laurie quickly identified what was bothering me and came up with various cost effective solutions. The culprit was the floor colour. Replacing it with a modern update allowed for all my new furniture to be selected to my taste and not constrained by the pre-existing colour scheme. Laurie has been just brilliant in helping with those furniture choices and especially helpful in area rug selection. She never imposes her taste over yours, but her suggestions and the examples she offers for viewing have helped me not spend a lot of money in ways that I now know I would have regretted.
